Help us put every school on the map

Volunteers find and register the schools in their area. Once a school is mapped, Credufy can bring free paper exams to its students — including schools with no internet and no computers. Apply below; we review every application.

Credufy Community Volunteer

You are our eyes and feet on the ground. You find schools in your area and put them on the map, so that Credufy can bring free paper exams to their students — including schools with no internet and no computers.

Our goal

Put every school in your state on the Credufy map, so that free paper exams can reach their students — including schools with no internet and no computers.

Our vision

A Nigeria where a student’s chance to prepare well for exams does not depend on whether their school has electricity, internet or a computer lab.

Why this matters

  • Decisions about teachers, books and exam centres are made from lists. A school that is not on the list is skipped — especially schools far from town, with no internet or computers.
  • Without results, nobody — not the school, the community or the state — can see where students are strong and where they are struggling.
  • Mapping puts a school, and its students’ results, where sponsors and education planners can see them. Credufy cannot promise funding, but it can make sure the school is counted and seen.
  • You do not run the exams. You open the door: the school is found, the head agrees, and Credufy does the rest.

What you will do

  • Find schools in your state that are not yet on the Credufy map — government, private and community schools, especially those far from town or without internet.
  • Register each school in your volunteer portal: its name, type, LGA and address, and a pin on the map showing exactly where it is.
  • Get every entry right. One entry per school, spelled correctly. The portal warns you when a school has already been mapped.
  • Introduce Credufy Community to the head of the school using the school consent letter Credufy gives you. The school decides whether to take part.
  • Follow the schools you have mapped in your portal and see when exams are assigned and marked.

What Credufy does

You map the schools. We do the rest, so you do not need to run exams or mark anything.

  • Credufy staff review the schools you map and assign paper exams to them.
  • The printed papers and answer sheets are marked by Credufy and results are produced for each school.
  • We keep you informed through your portal and by email or WhatsApp.

Ground rules — please read carefully

These protect schools, students and you. Breaking them can lead to your portal being suspended.

  • Credufy Community is free for schools. Never ask a school, teacher, parent or student for money, and never accept money or gifts in Credufy’s name.
  • Never collect the names or personal details of students. You map the school, nothing more.
  • Only map schools you have actually located. Do not guess, copy or invent details or locations.
  • Be honest about who you are: a Credufy Community volunteer. Do not present yourself as a Credufy employee or promise anything we have not confirmed in writing.
  • Ask permission from the head of the school before you enter the premises or speak to staff and students.
  • Keep your login private. Do not share your password or let anyone else map schools from your account.
  • Treat every school, teacher and student with respect, and report any problem to Credufy straight away.

What you need

  • A smartphone with data so you can use the map and drop a pin at the school.
  • A WhatsApp number we can reach you on, and an email address you check.
  • A little time each week to find and register schools in your area.

What happens after you apply

  • The Credufy team reviews your application.
  • If approved, you receive an email with a link to set your password.
  • You sign in to your volunteer portal and start mapping schools.
